In the cation of the title salt, C9H20NO+·CF3O3S−, the six-membered heterocyclic ring displays a chair conformation. In the crystal, centrosymmetric pairs of cations and anions are linked by N—H...O and O—H...O hydrogen bonds to form rings with aR44(14) graph-set motif.

Crystal structure of (R)-6-fluoro-2-[(S)-oxiran-2-yl]chroman

The title compound, C11H11FO2, is a building block in the synthesis of the active pharmaceutical ingredient DL-nebivolol. The synthesis starting from the enantiomerically pure (R)-6-fluoro-4-oxo-3,4-dihydro-2H-chromene-2-carboxylic acid resulted in a mixture of two stereoisomers, namely (R)-6-fluoro-2-[(S)-oxiran-2-yl]chroman and (R)-6-fluoro-2-[(R)-oxiran-2-yl]chroman. The mixture was separated by column chromatography but only one stereoisomer crystallized. The X-ray structure analysis revealed that the solid consisted of theR,Sisomer. A similar procedure was repeated for (S)-6-fluoro-4-oxo-3,4-dihydro-2H-chromene-2-carboxylic acid and, in this case, theS,Risomer was produced as a crystal…

In the title compound, C28H27NO3, the cyclohexanone and isoxazole rings have envelope conformations, with the methylene and spiro C atoms as the flaps, respectively. The mean plane of the isoxazole ring is inclined slightly to thep-tolyl ring, making a dihedral angle of 14.20 (9)°, and is nearly perpendicular to the mean plane through the tetralone moiety and to the methoxyphenyl ring [dihedral angles = 83.41 (8) and 72.12 (9)°, respectively]. The crystal packing is stabilized mainly by van der Waals forces.

[EN] The title complex, poly[dodeca--cyanido-diiron(III)triplatinum(II)], [FeIII2{PtII(CN)4}3], has a three-dimensional polymeric structure. It is built-up from square-planar [PtII(CN)4] 2 anions (point group symmetry 2/m) bridging cationic [FeIIIPtII(CN)4] + 1 layers extending in the bc plane. The FeII atoms of the layers are located on inversion centres and exhibit an octahedral coordination sphere defined by six N atoms of cyanide ligands, while the PtII atoms are located on twofold rotation axes and are surrounded by four C atoms of the cyanide ligands in a square-planar coordination. The title salt, 2C3H8N+·C2O42−, crystallized with six independent allylammonium cations and three independent oxalate dianions in the asymmetric unit. One of the oxalate dianions is nearly planar [dihedral angle between CO2planes = 1.91 (19)°], while the other two are twisted with angles of 11.3 (3) and 26.09 (13)°. One cation has a synperiplanar (cis) conformation with an N—C—C—C torsion angle of 0.9 (3)°, whereas the five remaining cations are characterized bygauchearrangements, with the N—C—C—C torsion angles ranging from 115.9 (12) to 128.8 (3)°.
